Why Don't They Ask For My Number? |

Dear Annie
Men keep giving me their phone number in case I want to call them. It's kind of weird. Over the last few weeks, several of the guys I'm meeting have given me their cards or their number. Why do men give me their phone numbers instead of asking me for mine?

Guys give you their phone number so that they don't have to get rejected when they call you. Studies show that as men get older, they start feeling quite shy. Men get rejected by women over and over again in their lives, and after a while, they'd rather just send out the message that they're interested, and if you call - great! And, if not - oh, well.... It's easier that way - and understandable. What it tells you, Allison, is that you're a desirable woman - especially when you've gotten several mens cards over the last couple of weeks. Pretty good for a woman of ANY age! You definitely have options!
Now it's time to start calling them back and finding out just who these men are, so that you can decide if you might be interested in getting to know them better.

You should comment on this practice for the guys. What do most women do with these cards? I know the answer, do you.
